KDPC is part of the South Eastern Zone - other clubs in our zone are Esperance, Munglinup & Goldfields.

KDPC is Affiliated with the Pony Club Association of W.A.

 

 

THE PONY CLUB MOVEMENT

 

Pony Club is a Youth Movement and uses the horse as a focal point of interest to train its members in the aims and objectives.
The Pony Club member must learn to understand and care for their pony, while at the same time learning to improve their riding skills

 

PONY CLUB AIMS & OBJECTIVES

 

To encourage young people to ride and learn to enjoy all approved kinds of sport connected with horse and riding

To provide instruction in horse mastership and to instill in members the proper care of their animals

To promote the highest ideals of fellowship, citizenship and loyalty and to cultivate strength of character and self-discipline

 

Pony Club - What it does.

 

It provides an environment in which a young rider can find knowledge & mutual friendship with other young riders. It encourages participation by providing all members with the opportunity to be involved in riding activities, regardless of their riding ability or the quality of their mounts.
 

Pony Club Ideals

 

                  The SAFETY of the RIDER.                      
                                                               The SAFETY of the PONY/HORSE.                                                                  

  The ENJOYMENT of the RIDER.
   The PROGRESS of the RIDER and the PONY/HORSE.
