Official Uniform for PCAWA competitions and Certificate Exams - Beige/Fawn or Cream Jodhpurs, White Long Sleeved Shirt, Gold Tie, Gold Woollen Jumper or Windcheater.
Cross Country - Club long sleeved Gold & Brown Polo Shirt with long sleeves or the Official uniform minus the tie.
Rallies - Official Uniform . Long sleeved polo shirts can be worn during February, March, October and November rallies only.
Compulsory - Boots and Safety Helmet of approved PCAWA standard (ASA/NZS 3838).
Optional - Pony Club badge
Saddle Blanket - must be Gold for competition and exams.
Hat Cover - optional but if worn must be in club colours of Gold - available from our uniform shop.

PCAWA Gear Check Rules

• A Safety Helmet which complies with the  Australian Standard ASA/NZS 3838 or PAS015 – UK; ASTM F 1163 – USA and EN 1384 – Europe). The retention harness and chinstrap must be correctly and firmly fastened at all time when mounted.

• Long or Short Riding Boots with low heels must be worn.  Soles must be smooth and continued to the heel - no half soles. Light treads and other patterns on the sole which provide an overall smooth feel are permitted.  Deeply ridged treads which may cause the stirrup to become stuck are not permitted.

• Leggings or Gaiters of full grain leather matching the boots may be worn.  Suede inserts are acceptable for Pony Club activities provided they have full grain leather on the outside and that this matches the boots being worn.

• Chapettes are permitted at Rallies only

• Spurs must be smooth metal.  There must be a shank only to the rear, not more than 3.5cm long and without rowels.  The end must be blunt.

PCAWA POLICY IS THAT THE ONLY JEWELLERY ALLOWED IS MEDIC ALERT BRACELETS AND WATCHES. NO OTHER JEWELLERY IS ALLOWED.  NO NAIL OR TOE POLISH.
